Well, Thanksgiving is over for us. It was fun. The food was good, the turkey was so wonderful. My parents let me borrow their turkey roaster which = BEST TURKEY EVER. The kids had fun and we found out that Kade can be fooled that turkey is actually chicken, lol. He ate it. Unbelievable!
Jarrid's eyes have been gleaming over turkey for about a month now. He finally got to have his turkey. He is having a ball. He is in there right now STILL tearing it down. He loves turkey.
It has been fun, here are some pictures. The kids are sweaty because the kitchen and dining room was so HOT!
Turkey in the roaster, almost done!
Yum, FOOD!

And lastly.. Shayla enjoying her turkey. We love you baby girl, your birthday has passed this month, you are now 13 years old. I love you more than anything!

Makenzie is getting better
My poor baby girl has been sick since last Wednesday, she had pneumonia. I took her to the E.R last Thursday and they just kind of brushed us off. Took X-rays, said they couldn't really tell what it was. They didn't give her an anti-biotic or anything. So, by Sunday she was pretty sick, I was getting ready to take her in when the E.R called and said her X-ray was read wrong and that she did have pneumonia! I was pretty upset with them. I mean how can an X-ray change from Thursday to Sunday? By then she was pretty sick. She could hardly even walk for her ribs hurting so bad. We went to the hospital where they ran IVs for awhile of Rosephin I believe. The next day she was feeling a little better and now today she is feeling tons of better! Thank God! She was just sooo sick. Her face was so pale which is not like her. She is usually rosy cheeked. The spark in her eye was gone, she just hung around and slept and of coursed coughed, coughed and coughed.
But, she is getting better and that is all the counts! She is going back to school tomorrow! Now everything can go back to normal.

Nevaeh's preschool project
Nevaeh brought home this little project for our family to do. It was called "A Family Project" where they wanted the whole family to pitch in and create it. We all helped fix it up pretty (well except for Jarrid, he just doesn't like crafts) We put beads all over it, I made hair bows for its ears, the kids colored it and Nevaeh helped glue everything on. I pasted it to card board to make it more sturdy since it was just paper. I think it is so cute. Nevaeh can't wait to take it to school tomorrow to show it off.
We also had a conference with her teacher today. She said Nevaeh is doing great. She said that Nevaeh is very very shy which was hard for me to believe since she is such a talker here at home. They said they hardly ever hear her speak! Her little class room is so cute. When we went in.. there were little kids laying everywhere on their little mats asleep.
Here is her dragon (I think it is a dragon?)

Gross out post
Last night my boy cat stayed out all night. When we got up to get the kids to school we found that he had killed a huge pigeon and left it on the street. Jarrid was going to clean it up after he walked the kids to the bus stop. I had my front door open waiting on Nevaeh's little bus to come (it comes right to our house) Nevaeh and I were sitting in the rocker together when Sarafena comes flying in the house and up the stairs with this huge dead pigeon in her mouth!(she also had this sly look on her face, like to say "your not going to get me haha" Oh, YUCK! This is so gross, so stop reading now if you don't want to hear it. The poor bird was hollow in the middle! I start screaming because I can't believe my kitty girl has taken a huge dead bird up to our bedroom! So gross! Bad kitty! Jarrid gets home from walking the kids to the bus and has to go fetch the bird upstairs. Gross Gross Gross! I will never kiss those kitties again! EW!

Sarafena and Sebastian are growing!
My kitties are growing so big. They are so sweet. Sebastian is more silly and likes to play silly games. He enjoys climbing up on top of the fish tank and then falling in, well I don't know if he actually enjoys the falling in part, but he does it ALL the time. Sarafena is more serious. She doesn't joke around. She is a true friend who can sense when I feel sad or depressed.
Here they are

Nevaeh's first painting from school
Nevaeh LOVES school, she comes home everyday so happy and proud of herself. I am so glad she likes it. I feel very proud that she is going to learn so much this year. I never dreamed that I would send her. They are having a little halloween party in a few weeks and they are also having a little parade where all the little kids (all 90 of them) will march down our streets dressed up in their little halloween outfits.
Anyway, here is a picture of proud Nevaeh with her painting!

Just rambling
Today we took the kids to the park, they had a great time. We let them play for about two hours, we also let them play down by the river, but I didn't get any pictures of that. They had the best time. They love being out and running wild, lol. I am going to take them out more often since the weather is getting wonderful. I am also feeling a lot better (I was really bad with nerves for like two whole months) Here are some pictures from the park.

My silly Sebastian
My silly cat Sebastian enjoys playing the in/out game every morning. When I get up in the morning he is waiting by the door wailing to get out. I let him out, ten minutes later he wants back in. Then he wants out, then in. This goes on all day. Sometimes I let him outside and ignore him when he starts wanting back in because I know just as soon as I let him in he is going to want to go outside again. Silly kitty!! I let him out this morning and he wanted back in, then he wanted out again and just a few minutes ago he wanted back in. I ignored him. When I ignore him, this is what he does at the window. (BTW, the window is so nasty because he is constantly paw-ing the window with his wet and grimy little paws)
This cat thinks he is a human child! He is getting so big and of course is as cute as ever. He sleeps with me at night and gets up with me in the morning. I really love him to pieces, but he is so annoying sometimes!

Busy Weekend
I have had a very busy weekend. On Friday night my sister Crystal and I.. went out to do some fun little stuff that just made us laugh and laugh, so much fun. heheh Don't think I'll ever forget that. It all came to a crashing end though, so no more of that. On Saturday I spent the whole day cleaning the house and rearranging the living room. I got a new coffee table at a yard sale that I love and a new pair of dark curtains (black and gold) I love for my house to be really dark. I also bought a brand new in the box rice cooker for $2, but I brought it home and cooked up the rice and it all turned to nasty mush. Ew.I mean this was like pudding. If anyone out there knows what I am doing wrong.. feel free to let me know! I really wanted fluffy rice.
Makenzie went with her little friend to horse riding lessons on Saturday too, she had a great time. She loves her little friend so much and loves their whole family. She spent the night with them Saturday too.
Tomorrow is back to the grind stone with getting up early to get THREE kids off to school. I can't believe I am saying that, I am now sending three kids to school. Nevaeh needed a small blanket for nap time. My sister gave her a beautiful little thin blanket to take to school. She also needed a tiny pillow. We looked everywhere for a tiny pillow. All we could find was these little crib pillows that were like $15. Noway I was paying that. So I came home and found the supplies laying around to make her a little pillow. It didn't take me long at all and best of all.. I think it turned out pretty cute. It is deep pink corduroy material that my mom gave me awhile ago.

Nevaeh started preschool !!!
Nevaeh started preschool on Wednesday. I am very excited about her starting. It is an all day preschool- 8 to 3. She went her first day on Wednesday and LOVED it. She did so well, she sat at her little desk/table and never tried to get up and run for me. She said she made a best friend and wants to go back really soon. I am excited for my baby, she is so happy! They do all kinds of fun stuff. They have a play area in her class room with a play kitchen area, dress up area, reading area, paint area and outside on the porch is water play and a huge table filled full of rice and beans for the kids to play in. They have a great outside play area. They also have a newly fixed up basement play area with foam floor padding, slides, tunnels and tons more stuff to play on. She is going to be SO happy to get to go to school like her sissy and bubby do everyday.
She will also learn to write her full name in the next few months, write all the letter of the alphabet by the end of the year.
School is out until Tuesday. On Tuesday she is even going to ride the bus like a big girl! I can't believe my baby girl is growing so big and smart and will now be going to school.

The Day Got Bad After My Last Post
Just after I made my last post about my sweet Nevaeh.. something bad happened to her. :( She fell and cut her knee wide open. It was SO SO deep that I could see the white bone. The cut was HUGE and gaped open like an inch wide. Oh, it was just so scary. I freaked out!! I quickly got my clothes on and Jarrid drove us to the ER. I called my mom and she came over to be with us (Thanks Mom) They stitched it up on the inside (10 stitches) and on the outside (10 stitches) so my poor angel got 20 stitches in her knee today. She was okay when we first got home because I think her knee was still a little bit numb, then she took a nap and woke up to a very sore knee. She can't walk. She has been on the couch all day watching movies, coloring and playing with a Doodle Bear. I feel so sorry for my poor angel. I still can't believe that happened to her :( I know it isn't such a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but I don't like to see my angel hurt.
And to top it all off.. Jarrid had to get a tooth pulled today because it ached him ALL night long. So, he is dealing with a sore mouth.

My sweet little Nevaeh is growing up. I have just started realizing these past few days what a big, smart girl she is becoming, she is no longer a baby. She is the sweetest little girl, she wants everyone to be happy. When any of us is not feeling well, she wants to kiss all our boo boos and hug us over and over. She loves to help out around the house, she loves to fold laundry and to help me put it away. She is the only one of my kids who really loves animals, she loves to look at them, pet them.. she is so gentle with all animals. She used to get up and turn the dogs water bowl over (everyday like clock work) and now she gets up to check to make sure the water bowl is full for them.
Nevaeh adores her big sister and wants to be just like her. She says Kade is her "best best friend" When he goes to school in the morning.. she says "don't leave me.. my best best friend" It is so sweet.
She truly is such a sweet little girl.
Here are some pictures of her when she was younger. I look at them and can't believe how big she has gotten!

Update on Kade and school
Kade is doing awesome with school. He does not cry. He rides the bus to and from school which I still can't believe! I am so happy about that. He has adjusted so fast, I thought this day would never come. He had a meeting last week to update his IEP. He will be getting some special help from a special education teacher and a few therapist for his sensory problems. I am so happy that he has adjusted so well!! He is very tired after school. Here is a picture of what he looks like after school, hehe....

School- Day 3
Kade says that he LOVES school. When I told him tomorrow was Saturday he was sad. I can't believe it. I thought he would have so much trouble adjusting. I worried all summer long about it and so far he loves it. He LOVES riding the bus home. I worried ALL summer about that too. I was worried the bus driver would lose him or let him off at the wrong stop, but he is doing great. I am so happy and proud of my big (he really is too, he is bigger than anyone in the whole grade) boy. I am proud of my girl too, but riding the bus is no thing to her, she has been doing that for years.

First day of school
The first day was actually yesterday, but I am going to talk about it now. Kade had a great day! He loved it! Today was the second day of school, he rode the bus home. I am so proud of him. The night before the first day he begged me not to make him go. He started telling me things to make me not send him...
"mommy, I promise to try to be nicer big bubby to sissy if you just don't make me go" It broke my heart, I cried and cried (he didn't see me) . He thought I was sending him to school because I was mad at him. He brought me home some really pretty coloring pages that he did himself.
Makenzie had a great day too. She feels so cool now that she is a big, cool third grader :) She has to pick her own clothes out now, wear body spray, and roll her socks down the perfect way. Third graders are oh so cool !
Nevaeh wanted to go so bad. She thought for sure she was going to school that day, in her pajamas. :)
Here are some pictures of the first day.....
Here are the pages he did on his first day

New Fish Tank
I got a new fish tank! It is 30 gallon, I love it. I wanted it to look like my sisters fish tank (which is gorgeous!) I think it looks pretty good. It is staying really clean which is great because I can't stand cloudy fish tanks.
Here is a picture of it

Kindergarten Open House
Kade had so much fun at his Kindergarten open house. He got to meet his teacher, color and meet his class mates. His teacher is very nice. I am hoping for him to have a great year. I am going to miss him being gone everyday, but I guess I am just going to have to get over that and deal with it.
Here are some pictures...
